Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Mix and bake ingredients to produce cakes, pies, pastries and other baked goods
  • Measuring and mixing ingredients into dough according to recipes
  • Producing all bakery items in a consistent, precise and efficient manner
  • Full knowledge of hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen
  • Provide training and support to the whole bakery team, demonstrate team work and foster good working relationships
  • Supports a clean and organized environment through regular clean up
  • Must be familiar with the use of commercial mixing machines, ovens, and other large-scale baking equipment
  • 1+ year baker experience
  • Be able to work early morning shifts (starts at 4 am)
  • Be physically capable of lifting (25 kg) and carrying heavy items and standing for long periods of time
  • Must be familiar with, and comply with, all health and safety standards
  • Have enough technical knowledge of baking equipment to keep it in good working order
  • Good interpersonal skills and team player
Working Condition:
Be able to work early morning shifts. Some prep work may be required on Sunday.
