Salary: $15.00 hourly for 44 hours per week

- Ability to communicate orally and in writing in English is required
- Completion of secondary (high) school is required
- 2 years to less than 3 years of work experience as a cook in a restaurant is required
Job duties
- Make soup, boil noodles and prepare ingredients for Japanese Ramen noodle with minimal supervision;
- Prepare, cook, and present Japanese style deep fried dishes such as Takoyaki and Karaage using deep fryer with minimal supervision;
- Suggest/plan new menus and determine size of food portions and presentation of food;
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment;
- Estimate food requirements and costs;
- Order supplies and equipment;
- Train kitchen staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food;
- Supervise kitchen staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food;
- Schedule kitchen staff;
- Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware and flatware;
- Clean and Inspect kitchen and work areas
