Hiring a sushi cook

 

Qualification:

  • Completion of secondary school is required.
  • Several years of commercial cooking experience (2~3 years) or, completion of college or other program in cooking is required.
  • Ability to prepare traditional & fusion Japanese cuisine (sushi, sashimi, rolls and etc) is a definite asset.

 

Main duties:

- Plan, prepare and cook overall food preparation of the sushi bar, Determine size of food portions, Oversee sushi bar operation, estimate food requirement, Clean kitchen and work area, and supervise and train helpers in culinary preparation techniques used.

 

Wage & Benefits:

$20~$22 per hour, 4% vacation fee of gross salary or 10 days paid vacation, gratuities and free meals

 

Working hours:

40 hours per week (full-time and permanent position)
